How we rate

By Cathy Riddell, founder of Moshy · Last updated 24 Oct 2026

Every tool on CRM Reviewed gets the same six-criterion score. I score each criterion from 1 to 5 (half-points allowed), multiply by the weight, and round the total to one decimal. My scores combine my own use (HighLevel daily for about 18 months on the Starter plan at Moshy), the official pricing and feature pages, and public user reviews. Commissions never change a score.

Criteria and weights

CriterionWeightWhat we look at
Features & automation25%Breadth and depth of CRM, pipelines, funnels, email/SMS, workflows and what's included on the plan we score.
Ease of use15%How quickly a non-technical owner can set up and run it; learning curve; interface consistency.
Pricing & value20%Entry price, what's included, per-seat or usage costs, fees and free plan/trial, from official pricing pages.
Support & onboarding15%Support hours and channels, documentation, training, migration help, and what reviewers report.
Integrations10%Native integrations, marketplace size, Zapier/webhooks and API access.
Reputation (public reviews)15%Aggregate ratings and review counts on Capterra and Trustpilot (G2 where we could read it), weighted towards larger samples.

What each score means

ScoreMeaning
5Best in class; hard to fault. (No tool scores 5 overall.)
4Strong; minor gaps most buyers won't notice.
3Adequate; real trade-offs you should check.
2Weak; a clear limitation for most buyers.
1Poor or missing.

The overall score is a weighted average, so it's our editorial opinion, not an average of user reviews. We show public user ratings separately below so you can compare.

  • Integrations 4.0: Native Stripe, Google, Meta, Zapier and an API; deeper API needs the higher plans.

Checked 25 Oct 2026. Capterra and Trustpilot figures were read from the linked pages; where Trustpilot only showed a rounded count on a related listing, we say so. G2 blocked our checks, so we don't quote G2 numbers. HubSpot's score is for the Starter Customer Platform; Capterra's figure is for HubSpot CRM overall.

How often we re-score

We re-check prices and public ratings whenever we update a review, and re-score if a plan, price or feature changes.
